Day 3.......The Sink and Tea
Today was pretty awesome! My cousin, my brother, and myself went out and about. We actually spent most of our time in Boulder, not in Denver. First we went to The Sink, a bar and restaurant that I guess that is famous. The walls were covered in art. Most of which I thought were grotesque and not very good to look at. HOWEVER, ironically we were sitting underneath this one painting of Robert Redford, my mother's favorite actor. Apparently he used to be a janitor there! It was pretty cool, especially for my mom.
After the restaurant we went to a tea factory! I LOVE TEA! When we went on the tour we had to wear hair nets, which looked silly (as seen below). The factory smelled AMAZING and there was an entire room for mint. Apparently they had to store it like that because otherwise mint would make everything else around it taste like mint. Outside the factory there was a tea sampling bar, where we could sample as much tea as we wanted!
The second part of the day all took place at the foot of the Rockies, and was absolutely spectacular.
(To be continued.....)
Wish I was at this leg of the trip, who knew a tea factory, never thought of it before, but I would imagine it would smell amazing! RR, how wonderful was that!
