My first Library Card!
Okay that is a lie. It is like my third library card. But, my two previous cards were from when I was a child, and I never used them.
This is my first library card as a certified adult and I WILL actually use it! As evidenced below, I took out two books already! Of course they are historical fiction because...I am addicted to that genre.
Now I just have to actually read them and remember to bring them back! Apart from getting to take out books (wooo free books!) they hold a bunch of events at different branches around the city, particularly writing classes and fun stuff like that! One of my goals when moving to Seattle was to get involved in the writing community that is here, and I feel like this is going to be my entry to it.
I hope I can be a cultured and interesting enough person to use the library system to its full potential, but this is a good start. A beginning of a literary adventure that I have been extremely lacking in the last few years (aka while I was in college). I hope to share it all with you!
