I have been traveling a lot lately, mostly to Scotland but also in the last two days I have been in Paris!

A full post on this trip will come when I get back but until then here are a few random musings I have had on my trip...

- My poor Scotland really does have horrid weather. It was in the 40s and raining there while it was in the 70s and sunny in England.

-It doesn't take very long to figure out if a Scot is pro Scottish Independence or not...it usually shows through.

- I was right three years ago, Edinburgh is the best city on earth

- Seals are too cute for words

-Edinburgh brings out the morbid history loving side of me.

- One word: redheads

- Scottish book shop tenders are cute

- Also Scottish book shops are my weakness

-Why is Caesar salad served on every menu no matter what country...

- Do all Scots know the same fake 'haggis" story to tell gullible tourists, or have I just happened to have heard the same one several times coincidentally

- Lambs, lambs everywhere! Little babies.

- Traffic in the highlands can be a nightmare

-Paris has some rude ass people in it...and I say that coming from New York

- It is very refreshing being in a country where people drive on the right

- The look of horror when a waiter realizes they are talking to a person who speaks a different language than them and they have to complete this transaction using hand signals must be universal

- Baguettes. ...why is everyone carrying baguettes (not even joking)

- "no merci" Is a very important phrase

- My meager Italian skills serve me no purpose here.....woah is me

-Sunlight on my shoulders...makes me happy

-Despite the fact it was nearly 80 degrees out Parisians are still bundled up in coats and scarves.

- Sex position dice are a common item for sale at most tourist shops

- Don't hate me because I speak English....I am a very fragile little duck

-France is so much more diverse than England

- The French army patrols Paris at night now with their machine guns O.O

-Paris is the most remarkable city I have ever seen in its ability to have lovely spaces just about anywhere for its citizens to kick back and lounge in the sun

- I have noticed many of the younger French people speaking in French and English amongst themselves....I have decided to call this mix of languages " Frenglish"

That is all for now! I am going yo eat a pastry and cry about how much my feet hurt.

Also this is my first ever post typed up on my phone! That is a small accomplishment!
